anywhere you turned you could get the countdown for new year's at jesse and kyla's wedding-i love how they incorporated this theme into their wedding design! and if you remember...this all started at their engagement session...
but before the new year's festivities, we went out for a little tour of niagara on the lake...

this couple and their friends were troopers! we were right by the water's edge but it was strangely mild for a december wedding.

the bouquet's and other floral design for the wedding was by pauline at my bouquet... love the purple against the black dresses-so classy!

a few more with just these two love birds... before our walk back to queen's landing. i adore these two together!

and this is one of my faves-i think it's the smile on his face while she's talking about the day's events and how perfect everything was...

gorgeous day for a charming couple!

congratulations to jesse and kyla...can't think of a better way to start of a new year than to exchange vows and to start 2012 as husband and wife. queen's landing was the beautiful setting for this new year's wedding celebration...
jesse and the guys were getting a good clean shave downtown...

and i met sweet kyla and her gals being pampered by jess, sarah and sasha from allure hair and make up.

one of my most favourite details on a wedding day...the shoes...

my other most favourite ... the sisters... they're so great together!
.jpg)
kyla invited her soon-to-be sister-in-laws as well as a few close friends for a champagne toast just before walking down the aisle...

there was a lot of love in this room...it was most evident when kyla's family surprised her and sang her and her new hubby back down the aisle... they sang 'close to you' by the carpenters-a song kyla grew up with. sweetest. thing. ever.

so much positive energy surrounding these two-couldn't be happier for them!

and i couldn't possibly include all of their new year's eve wedding goodness in one blog post... it would be too much! come back real soon!
we were honoured to celebrate with newly weds jesse + kyla! it was beautiful wedding day-so creative and personal- what a great way to ring in a new year- surrounded by all of your friends and family!we'll post more about their celebration next week!

for now...i wish these two a love and happiness and we wish y'all a happy 2012-cheers!
i've known jeremy for just a few years... back in the olden days hubby and i were youth group leaders... it was great to reconnect and to celebrate his and katie's wedding!
there may not have been snow but the cambridge old mill was decked out for the holidays...
love the festive colours!
a little pre dance party in the park...
congratulations jeremy and katie! we wish you a very merry first christmas as hubby and wife!

i first met todd & andrea at ravine winery for a photo session the day before their wedding. they flew in from LA to celebrate their wedding here in niagara at Vineland Estate Winery and if you remember-they planned the wedding in just 3 short weeks. it was a beautiful day- a casual ceremony surrounded by the vineyards with 12 guests...their family.
todd and andrea met at work-not wanting to rush into anything they were friends for a while... she laughed as she said 'he wasn't even my type-blond hair...blue eyes'.
it didn't take long for him to win her heart... and together they have a gorgeous little girl, ava.
a few of my favourite moments...
-a little pre wedding jump on the bed with the girls
-todd-learns how to tie ; )
-the walk down the aisle-bride and beautiful baby
-simple ceremony on scattered rose petals
-the vows-beautifully written and so personal
-the way andrea's face lit up when she saw the carriage house
-sister steph... seriously talented. she sang for the couple... and their mom
-ava and grandma wheelin' to dinner
-the dancing...
enough about that...check out the images from their winery wedding:
the inspiration for this wedding... andrea's mom was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer and the couple wanted her to be able to celebrate with them... so they brought the wedding a little closer to home.

it's common the wedding couple to get wrapped up in the busy-ness of the wedding day... i usually will remind the couple to take it all in - andrea didn't need the reminder-she was soaking it all in-all the special moments, the beauty of the day...her husband...
the carriage house was stunning! andrea had wanted to have something magical for her mom... jennifer from mimosa went above and beyond-she created a beautiful atmosphere for family to enjoy-it was the perfect evening.

a little song, a little dance...and some great memories!
congrats to you, todd and andrea!
