i have a few more summer weddings coming up on the blog...Mark and Moa's was an intimate wedding with a guest list of close friends and family. top ten favourite things about their lovely celebration: 1. the wild flowers bouquet 2. i'll never get tired of the blush bridesmaid dress 3. the casual way Mark met Moa at the car when she arrived for the ceremony 4. her beautiful tears 5. the traditional Korean dresses that the mother's wore 6. ice cream. more pictures or ice cream...they chose ice cream 7. polka dots 8. golden rod 9. the scenry behind their venue: Alphie's 10. mark's dance moves
a dreamy little celebration at Queen's Landing in NOTL. if you recognize these two love birds it might be from their "fall in love" engagement session last year. romantic and charming with a few personal touches is how matt and christina exchanged their vows!
it's all about timing. they knew eachother because they were in the same program at Brock University. their paths had crossed several times but they didn't ever stop to talk to eachother. five years later...it was finally their time. Christine was working at RW&co at the local mall and Rob came in to buy jeans. It wasn't long before he was returning those same pair of jeans... and leaving his number. She called the number... they fell in love.
they decided to celebrate at the Honsberger Estate in Jordan, a perfect setting for a chill, casual celebration! Here are just a few of our favourite images from their wedding day!
the most anticipated moment of the day is often when the groom gets to see his bride for the first time. Rob could hardly contain his excitement...
congratulations again beautiful lovebirds! xo
it was about 8 years ago...back in the film days, that i photographed jessica and mike's wedding! despite the rainy skies they were as bright and sunshiny as ever! probably cause they were madly in love and a little rain wasn't going to ruin their day! jessica's bouquet was just as lovely-i expected nothing less as she was a talented florist herself! seems like a life time ago and since that magical day, i have watched jessica build her business over the years! so happy for her successes!
i visited her newly renovated barn and we had a chance to talk about the wedding industry over tea and her mom's recipe of really great cookies.

'Fleurish has deep roots in the Niagara region, a passion that started for Jessica in the family greenhouse as a child and has since grown into something much more. There is nothing better then being surrounded by fresh flowers in the studio or having my hands elbow deep working in the gardens around my home….'
'Clients who choose Fleurish wish to achieve overall looks that aren’t cookie cutter or typical but one-of-a-kind florals that are as unique as the couple themselves.'
What inspires you? 'I have a small fetish for decorating & floral magazines, I secretly follow many amazing floral artists on Instagram. I love to mimic the amazing colours & intricate details found all around us in nature.'
Favourite memory from your career so far? 'Recently we were able to move from our basement studio space to a newly renovated barn studio behind the house! This has been an awesome move; both with so much more space to work in as well as a much larger cooler space to fill especially in the summer months!'
If you weren't an incredible designer of beautiful florals what would be your dream job? 'Hmm that’s a good question….a personal shopper maybe or a massage therapist'
On your day off...where would we find you? 'Enjoying time with my little girl, danica & hubby, working in the garden, pinning away on Pinterest or redecorating my home.'
Advice for couples planning a wedding? 'Don’t stress! This is supposed to be one of the most exciting times in your lives so leave the important details of planning to the professionals! This is their passion – let them run with it!'
