remember chris and patricia... they used their save the date film as the entrance to their reception and that led them into their dance. we made them a feature film... enjoy this throwback to last summer-a gorgeous afternoon spent celebrating this couple...madly in love.
remember mike + michelle? it was beautiful winter wedding at white oaks resort. a little yoga and beer tasting in the morning. it had snowed and they braved shooting outdoors. they had dancers...they were amazing. remember?
well we released their feature film this summer!
mike and michelle threw a little party this summer and invited their friends + family back to the orchard for a movie night. we were thrilled that this event was recently featured on 100 layer cake... i'll have a guest blogger to tell you all about it tomorrow and show you a few more pictures!
grace thought she was alone in the kitchen at a house party when she asked herself 'what is a party without a wine opener?' mike was standing next to her with the opener in hand. this was their first encounter.
the second encounter was at the same party-they had connected through a conversation about diving in the philipines.
he got her number. they dated. they fell in love. she said yes when he proposed.
grace and mike married this summer at the beautiful grand victorian in niagara-on-the-lake and we're making their wedding film! we sent them a teaser to show at their wedding celebration in singapore...
jess and brian had a gorgeous wedding thanksgiving weekend! enjoy the teaser:
Chris and Kendra were great fun to work with! There were stories throughout the day that I knew were going to make it to the highlights film-stories that would best represent their spontanaeity and outgoing personalities. Kendra lost her veil and 'called an audible' having her dad run back to the car to get it for the ceremony! Dancing snowmen appeared at the reception-an inside family joke. Typically we don't produce stories but we had time at the beginning of the dance that allowed us to get outside and light the street and their bedroom window for an epic closing shot. When the couple came outside with their sparklers we were ready to film. This scene also gave us the opportunity to film the bride in her 2nd dress. We couldn't have done it so quick and seamless without Chris and Kendra's walkie talkies!
Congrats Chris and Kendra! It was a pleasure filming your wedding! Cheers!
