douglas + paige {i do}
enjoy the beauty of paige and douglas' destination wedding right here in niagara. they traveled from dubai. their family and close friends were invited to celebrate with them. they rented a house in niagara-on-the-lake and stayed together there having some much needed family time. for many guests this was the first time meeting paige's fiance.
get comfortable…this wedding had many stories.
when we arrived the festivities had begun and paige was being looked after by the lovely girls from allure…
could mom be any more excited for her daughter
and she's not just getting a son-in-law… but also a beautiful new grand daughter. we adore this little one-a quiet, warm soul who at first didn't want her picture taken… but we won her over in no time at all. most of the day, she watched from the sidelines with a sweet smile on her face.
exactly 31 days earlier dad had open heart surgery-we're so thrilled he's here!
this is what 41 years of marriage looks like…
paige referred to these ladies as the 'bridesmaids of her heart' and they were invited over on the wedding morning to drink champagne and get ready with the bride.
the groom was just down the road…he fell in love with niagara-on-the-lake this week-the tree lined streets of charming homes were a welcome change from the desert he and paige call home.
vineland estates winery was the backdrop for today's wedding and we couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather…
we welcomed the dark clouds and dramatic sky....grateful the rain circled around us…

we left the newly weds and their company to enjoy the fine wines and menu at vineland estates winery…
and we wish you a lifetime of many more happy stories!
paige planned her wedding in 6 days (i stand corrected...that would be 6 hours!)… from dubai. when i asked her how, she replied… 'oh, i just used your website-i wanted to work with people that you worked well with and i found everything i needed right there.' makes my heart smile a wee bit : )
