a place…a smell, a feeling

i find it amazing how music can bring you back to a place...a smell, a feeling.  this morning as i'm getting ready for a wedding consult-i'm listening to death cab for cuties-it was our 'paris' c.d.  the weather was much like it is this morning when we visited last summer.  the windows are open and i can smell the crepes-i can see the rooftops from our little apartment-i can remember the excitement of getting ready for a brand new day of exploring an amazing city.  

sweet pea (aka hubby, mike) is planning  us a fabulous trip with friends to nyc-we're currently looking for a sound track and taking suggestions!
